According to the UN's website, Human Rights Day is observed every December 10th. This day is celebrated on the same day the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
This year’s theme is Equality, which is based on Article 1 of the universal declaration. Article 1 states, “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.”
