The Muslim holy month of Ramadan started in April and even amid a global pandemic, most of the world's 1.6 billion Muslims observe it in some form. This means there's a good chance you have (or will) encounter someone celebrating, fasting, and doing other sacraments and activities that are unique to the holy month. But what is Ramadan, exactly?
