Remembering 9/11

Categories: Diversity & Inclusion

On September 11th, 2001, we experienced unimaginable devastation and loss to our nation. Each year, we honor and remember the nearly 3,000 victims who lost their lives, the survivors of the attacks, and the first responders by observing today as a national day of service and remembrance.

This date shook the world and changed everyone’s life, but the horrific event also brought Americans closer together. As U.S. Senator John Kerry said, “It was the worst day we have ever seen, but it brought out the best in all of us.”

Today, we honor and remember everyone impacted by this tragedy.
