Twenty years ago, September 11th was a day that forever changed our country. While two decades have come and gone, the sorrow remains fresh.
Tomorrow is a day when we can collectively join hands to remember the many lives lost, to convey condolences to the surviving family members and friends, and to honor the selfless bravery of the first responders.
9/11 is forever engraved in our history, but I believe it is also important to remember the acts of compassion and courage that followed as we came together to heal our country.
As we honor those personally impacted by the senseless tragedy, I ask that you please remember to take care of yourselves and one another each day.
