Which woman/women have influenced you the most in your professional life?

I have been very fortunate to have worked with extraordinary women throughout the entirety of my career. They are intelligent, successful, hardworking, driven, creative, courageous and somehow make it look easy to juggle work and family life. From each of them, I have received immeasurable pieces of mentorship and guidance that have helped mold me. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.

Most recently, I must give huge thanks and appreciation to Susan Barry, Flagship’s Vice President of Marketing. Working under her I not only learned a lot, but she sets the bar high for the type of leader I aspire to be.

Josephine

JOSEPHINE A.

Senior Recruiter
Flagship Employee Since: January 2015

Which woman/women have influenced you the most in your professional life?

My mom. She was such a high achiever in both her education and professional life. She wanted to provide the best life for her family and although she was only 4’11”, she was as feisty as they come. She is my definition of confidence and success, and I strive to be like her every day.

What has been your most significant contribution to Flagship’s history?

I’d like to think I’ve played an integral part in growing our IFM division to where it is today. When I was first hired, IFM was just starting to grow. It’s nice knowing that for most of the IFM employees, I most likely sourced them directly or played some part in their hiring process. It’s also been wonderful to build relationships with all of the IFM managers over the years and to contribute to the mentorship of other recruiters.

What mark do you hope to make at Flagship?

I hope that when other teammates think of me, they think “she’s an awesome recruiter that gets the job done,” and that I’m a reliable/efficient partner that matches a high work ethic and will always follow up and follow through.
